While Singapore may fare better than its counterparts in avoidance and preparation, it still will be near impossible to escape the negative economic impact of an aging population.

Singapore currently has a population of 300,000 Singaporeans aged over 65 (9% of Singaporean population); by 2030 this figure is estimated to be three times more (900,000).

It ain’t easy being a beefcake

The recent ruckus in the media about the bare-bodied male homo sapiens parading outside the soon-to-be-opened Abercrombie & Fitch store along Orchard Road made me curious to want check them out.  A publicity stunt by the clothing & apparel store to be sure, but hey, let us be honest, how often do you see 50 delicious male models topless along our Singapore streets? And in such close proximity and affability! I must be dreaming!

There is always something we can do

Dear everyone,

Publichouse.sg has been online just a little over 3 months. It is a little infant which all of us here are handling with much care. ;)

We would first and foremost like to express our thanks to you for your support. It has been a good 3 months for us. In that short period, we have achieved a certain level of recognition - not just of the name of our website but more importantly of the kind of work that we do. It heartens us here at publichouse.sg that you have helped us spread the word.
